About

“What would you give to come home every day and know that you are going to be refreshed and invigorated or relaxed and rested just by being there; that you had reconnected with who you are because the space was absolutely perfect for you? Now picture arriving at your office each day and you feel the joy of being there. You know that the space compliments what you do, allows you to feel energized and productive at work and functions perfectly to make your job more enjoyable. Those feelings spill out into your life, spread joy and happiness, and people know that you like your life.”

Lynle Ellis of Lynle Ellis Designs (a San Diego, CA based company) is a color expert, interior design consultant, and professional speaker. She artfully works with a select group of clients who want to connect with their environments in ways they may have not thought possible. She helps clients identify colors that complement the type of lifestyle they want, in a space that creates excitement, focus, and peace which allows them to tap into their highest potential. Using a collaborative, organized, detailed and efficient design approach, she assists people in aligning and enhancing the quality of their lives.

Personal Interior Design History: In 1991 Lynle Ellis began her career in Philadelphia, PA by receiving her BFA from Moore College of Art and Design in Interior Design. She graduated cum laude and moved to southern Florida. After spending four years in Boca Raton, Fl, working as a design assistant for two residential designers, she proceeded to settle in San Diego, CA.

Parisi, a Del Mar interior design firm, hired her as a senior designer. She created designs for numerous model homes in Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; Orange County and San Diego County; however, she knew that her love and passion was working with individual clients.

Lynle created her boutique interior design firm in 1999 under the name, Gryphon Designs. That same year she completed and passed the 2 day, 6 section NCIDQ exam for Interior Designers. This is the National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam, which allows her to be a Professional member of ASID and able to practice as an interior designer in most states. Lynle is knowledgeable in all aspects of interior design including but not limited to: code issues, construction detailing, lighting design, built-in designs, as well as, interior space planning, furniture planning, colors and fabrics.

In 2008, Gryphon Designs became Lynle Ellis Designs. Lynle helps identify colors and designs that complement a client’s life style, personality and desires so as to create the perfect living or working environment. It is Lynle’s philosophy that everyone can be aligned, body, mind and spirit, through their surroundings.
